We are proud to share that Prof. Alexandros-Apostolos A. Boulogeorgos, a leading member of our research group SIRIUS, was honored at the Research Excellence Awards reception of the University of Western Macedonia.

This work, published in one of the most prestigious journals in the field of communications, makes a significant contribution to the modeling and performance assessment of optical wireless nano-networks, addressing critical challenges related to disorientation and misalignment effects.
At the time of this research achievement, Prof. Boulogeorgos was serving as an Assistant Professor at the University of Western Macedonia. He has since continued his academic journey and now holds the position of Associate Professor at Democritus University of Thrace, further strengthening his impact on research and education.
